The
Art of Kicking Part 2: Kickers of the New Wave

Kung Fu
Cinema, WA
During the early 1980’s, martial arts films began to wane away from
its period settings and settle down into the modern day world. Classic
kung fu kickers like Hwang Jang-Lee and Casanova Wong continued to make
films and settle pretty well. Other kickers like Tan Tao-Liang and Sun
Chien would somewhat retire and comeback to the modern day era but not
hold up the success they achieved during their heydays.
Nevertheless, a new generation of superkickers began to emerge in the
midst of the New Wave genre...

the Answer B!tch
E! Online Hollywood Celebrity Gossip! She's here to

About the B!tch
The Answer B!tch doesn't have to tell you
anything about herself, but she will anyway. Because she's good to you
like that.
Leslie Gornstein is a Los Angeles-based entertainment
reporter and writer of miscellany whose work has appeared in the Los
Angeles Times, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, Utne Reader and
so on and such.
As the Answer B!tch, E! Online's resident question-and-answer columnist,
Gornstein has built a fan base of, like, millions of rabid B!tchlettes,
many of whom follow her every syllable during her weekly podcast and
satellite radio show.
What, that's not enough? The Dibbuk, a horror film based on a feature
Gornstein wrote last year, is being produced by Sam Raimi's Ghost House
Productions.
What else. Oh, yeah,
right. She knows everything.

meet-and-greet session with the press at the movie theatre, and looked a
tad tired. Still, he gamely smiled when posing for photographs and when he
was introduced to the media...

Mixed
martial arts promoters step up to fill EliteXC void

Honolulu Star-Bulletin, HI -By Jason Genegabus
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS in Hawaii

was shutting down after less than...
Loyal fans already know the connection between EliteXC and
ICON Sport, the local promotion purchased by parent company Pro Elite last
year. According to Sherdog.com, former owner T. Jay Thompson
said he wanted to regain the rights to the ICON name. That process could
take months, however, and there's no indication Thompson will try to
relaunch as Superbrawl, another name he used to promote fights. In order
to fill the void, other promoters have introduced events at venues other
than Blaisdell Arena...
