I’m glad you came by to visit to find out more about me. Well… Lets see. I live in Encino, California with my mom, dad, my eleven year old sister Alexis and my grandmother. I’m 5’ 2, with blonde hair blue eyes. I’m 15 years old, my birthday is November 11th, that makes me a Scorpio and I’m in the ninth grade. 

I am now an official sports reporter for the school newspaper. I go to school with my three very best friends Maria, Kim and Tiffany. You can find out how we first meet each other by reading the “ Origin Story of the Karate Angels.” 

Oh yeah… I don’t eat meat. No way...! But, I like everything else, I just can’t stand the taste of meat. I find that for me, I like to eat throughout out the day as I get hungry. Like when I workout after school, I usually bring something with me to eat as I go. At my house my mom is always cooking something special, and I won’t miss that.

If you read the story about my style of martial arts. http://www.karateangels.com/sarahstyle.html I completely relate to what you're saying. You'll see what i mean, we're a lot alike. I was determined that no matter how sore my muscles were, no matter what was on television, no matter what - I was going to go to class and I was going to work out hard. I was determined to be a black belt, one of the youngest black belts in the school. I really wanted to make Master Chong proud of me. The funny thing is he took me aside and told me that as hard as I was working and progressing, I was missing something. He didn’t want me to work hard for him; he wanted me to work hard for myself. If I was doing it only for him, he would rather I not do it at all.

You see, Master Chong says that we are responsible for our own selves. We have to do what is necessary to make ourselves happy and healthy. It’s okay to do things we know will make others happy, but when it comes to choices about our own lives, we are in charge.

         One of the things I learned is “ Practice Doesn’t Make Perfect, Perfect Practice Makes Perfect.” How you practice is how you are going to perform, if you slack off in practice, you can’t assume that is how you are going to react in real life.

It takes a lot of dedication to practice the same things week after week. A lot of people drop out because they expect it to come to them immediately and they’re not willing to put the work into it.

    What's the name of your form? Tang Soo Do is an
excellent style of Martial Art. One of my fav's are
double Sai's. That's the weapons I use when I compete
right now. The Bo Staff forms are so beautiful and
powerful, it's also one of my favorites. I first
studied the Bo Staff when I was eight. It helped me
to keep balance and stay focused. I loved being a
Green Belt, it was just about the time I started
to realize. Hey, I'm getting good at martial arts!!
